HOW LIL DID WE KNOW!!!

       We had dreams like the ones in the fairytale !!! we had full confidence in us that we will grow up and all that will be true!!! When we saw movies they were the ppl standing inside that big glass room and acting; u break the glass they will be out of it!!! and then back home wondering how did they fit into such a small box named t.v!!! Every time we lied about no homework or not having broken that piece at all, mama said god will punish u go wash ur mouth never lie again!!! When we asked how was I born, they answered u were gods gift unto us!!! And we smiled like prince and princess!!! We hardly remember the times we cried!!! Our birthdays were the worlds most important days and we used to await its arrival from the day next to our b’day!!! We had a problem, we were running towards mom or dad and they always promised everything will be alright and they always made sure everything was alright!!! The unbearable pain occurred was when we fell down on our knees and the skin got scraped!!! The problems we ever had were friends pinching us during class, not giving their “mender or rubber”  or not letting us play with their doll or riding our new cycle !! The biggest hurdle to cross was that sand heap on the road!!! We use to prepare so hard to recite that BIEEEEEG 4 line poem !!! we were the worlds greatest achievers when our class teacher put 4 stars on our homeworks or tests sheets!!! we used to watch that birthday girl walk from the teachers bench to our bench with that box full of colour colour chocolates and wish her more specially than others to get an EXTRA chocolate then go home and tell daddy that “girl at school liked me soo much and gave me an extra chocolate daddy”!! For thing we did not get we cry and then mummy or daddy will get them in the evening and we would celebrate with it the whole week!!! All we knew was everybody is lovable and good and all is well and happy J J J J

     How lil did we know!!! We never knew mom and dad will not be by our side all time!!! We never knew life was a  harder than lives in story books or movies!!! We never knew we would have problems that we cannot express to our parents!!! We never knew “vakth ke sath sath dhunuiya be bhadhal sakta hai”(along with the time the world also keeps changing)!!! We never knew words and deeds can hurt us more than physical injuries!! We never knew ki ppl will die !!! we never knew dreams are hard to achieve and sometimes we let dreams be dreams!!! We never knew there would be time we would not celebrate our b’days or forget them or try to IGNORE them!!! We never knew we would forget our then classmates names and shift somewhere else in respects of place time and situations!!! We never knew we would succumb to the reality!!! We never knew we would commit mistakes nor that mom or dad had something called tears !!! we never knew there would be times when things donot happen our way!!! We never knew there would be times our love will not be reciprocated, There would be times we hate the world because u r left ALONE with so many ppl around but that single person who makes it LIFE!!! We never knew that there was something called understanding, misunderstanding, soul, missing, cheating , trust, hostility, challenge, victory, failure, tomorrow, future, repute and pain !!!  If I would have known ALL this as a kid I would not have grown!!!

PS: Loving and accepting life as it comes, is no easy task but too big a challenge!!!
